Courses Taught:

AR 100-1Y First Experiences in Studio Art (1) A first-year level, team-taught introduction to the five studio art disciplines of drawing, 绘画, 版画, photography and sculpture. After a one-week introduction and analysis of studio approaches and applications, the course introduces the five disciplines through five two-week concentration sessions. The course does not count towards art major requirements. (Satisfies Skills Foundation requirement in creative art.) Materials fee required. 秋天.

AR 104 Basic 画 (1)
A studio experience for the non-major or art minor dealing with the basic principles of composition, 比例, linear perspective, and form in space within the context of representational drawing. 秋天,春天.

AR 111 Two-Dimensional Design (1)
A studio course for the art major, emphasizing structural and proportional organization through problems in line, tonal contrast, and color relationship, employing a variety of materials. Prerequisite: art major. 秋天,春天.

AR 256 Digital 版画 I (1)
A studio experience in 版画 utilizing the computer as a tool to create and manipulate digital images. Prerequisite: AR 111. 春天.

AR 301 版画 I (1)
A studio experience in collagraph, 浮雕, 蚀刻, and engraving as an introduction to relief and intaglio 版画. Prerequisites: AR 111 or AR 150. 秋天,春天.

AR 302 版画 II (1)
A studio experience in advanced level of techniques presented in AR 301.
Prerequisite: AR 301. 秋天,春天.

AR 303 版画 III (1)
Introduction to lithography, experimental intaglio, and color intaglio, for the 版画 major. Prerequisite: AR 302. 秋天,春天.
